What is 100 Carats?
100 Carats is a Los Angeles jewelry studio that designs and hand-makes custom fine jewelry set with lab-grown diamonds. Every piece is made to order at our downtown Los Angeles studio, by appointment.
How does pricing work?
Each piece is priced individually after we understand the design, stone, and metal. You get one clear quote before anything is made. The consultation is free.
How long does a custom piece take?
About ten days on average. Larger commissions can take longer, and we tell you up front.
Are your diamonds certified?
Center stones are graded to the IGI standard, with GIA available on request where offered. Stones at half a carat and above ship with a lab report.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond, with the same carbon, the same hardness, and the same fire in the light.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. Shop Pay, Afterpay, Klarna, and Affirm are available.
Do you ship outside Los Angeles?
Yes, nationwide and worldwide where local rules allow, fully insured.
Where are the pieces made?
By our own bench in downtown Los Angeles. We never outsource.
Are the center stones and accents all lab-grown?
Center stones are lab-grown and certified. On some pieces, small accent stones may be natural, so we only label a whole piece lab-grown when it is true.
Do you offer upgrades or trade-in?
Yes. Bring back a 100 Carats piece anytime and we will assess its trade-in value toward something new of greater value. The metal and stones always carry value.
Care, warranty and returns
The details, in plain terms.
Care and service
We clean and inspect any 100 Carats piece for the life of the piece, resize once at no charge, and handle repairs and restoration when they are needed. If a piece has been through something, bring it in. We made it, so we know it.
Warranty
Every piece carries a warranty against manufacturing defects. Everyday wear and accidental damage are not covered, but our team looks at each case and does what it can.
Custom and made-to-order
Because these are made for one person, the deposit is non-refundable and production is final. We confirm every detail with you before the work begins, so there are no surprises at the bench.
Stock pieces
Ready-made pieces may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unworn, undamaged, and in original condition with the certificate and packaging, subject to inspection. Refunds on stock items are issued as store credit. Engraved, resized, or personalized items are final sale.
Upgrades and trade-in
Bring back any piece you bought from us, anytime, and we will assess its trade-in value toward a new piece of greater value. The piece must be in good condition with its original certificate.
